THE JOURNEY ISN'T PERFECT BUT THE PURPOSE IS ...

... IT'S NEVER TOO LATE FOR A REBIRTH.

MISSION & VISION

MISSION:

Our mission is to provide services to

EDUCATE-->PREVENT-->ADVOCATE

to and for our community in order to combat dating violence & intimate partner violence.

VISION:

Our vision is to be a trusted and valued leader in expanding the knowledge of healthy relationships and forms of abuse to employers, schools/colleges, courts, policy makers, communities and their providers to transform society's stigmas and view point. Also, to empower those affected to take control back of their final narrative.

IMPACT ON THE EDUCATED

In the last three decades the percentage of women who earned a four year degree increased from 16.1% to 33.7% versus men who started at 23.2% in 1986 and averaged at 33.2% in 2016. As of 2007, women also account for about 40% of managers in the U.S workforce. In the same breath, 35% of all women who have been married or in a common law relationship have experienced psychological abuse…and those are just the ones that have reported it.

Many women who are educated and identified as successful in their professional lives have a hidden secret in their personal lives. They are victims of some form of abuse. For fear of being stigmatized as weak and having their personal life affect their professional reputation and family image, many of these women stay quiet and deal with these struggles on their own, often dismissing the behaviors as normal behaviors displayed by their significant other.
